Booked: Information Architecture Summit 2006
I’m all registered and reserved for the 2006 Information Architecture Summit in Vancouver, B.C. I’m looking forward to it, I’ve heard great things about past years. A few sessions that look really interesting (full list):
- IA: Not Just for the Web Anymore
- New Approaches to Managing Content with Dan Brown
- IA for Efficient Use and Reuse of Information with Thomas Vander Wal (Check out this interview at Thought Leaders podcast.)
- Tags and facets, tags and languages: a case study. with Peter Van Dijck (I’m interested to see how this relates to some ideas I had awhile ago.)
And, of course, the opening and closing plenaries with David Weinberger and Peter Merholz respectively.
I’ll be blogging the conference here, if you want to follow along. (I’m excited to be the person saying that for once, instead of reading it on someone else’s blog.)
