Buying Happiness
Had to pass along (from Kottke) this article by Robert Frank, a professor of economics at Cornell, titled How Not to Buy Happiness. The gist is that you can buy happiness (i.e. a more relaxed, healthier life) if you spend your money on the right things. It also seems to say that as a society we are collectively purchasing unhappiness….
